Thoughts for the day

The Bible contains 7 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love heterosexuals. It’s just that they need more supervision!

You can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that, you better know something.

Someone (http://artisforlosers.eastwest.nu/) has a very twisted imagination. (I almost took that very photo tonight except I’m missing one thing; celery. Stay tuned.) That’s why I like him. Anyway, the pic above is a quick fix. It’s sad how rusty I am with Photoshop. I need to search around for some inspiration. I think this guy (http://artisforlosers.eastwest.nu/) did a great job working a pic into the header. Of course, there’s always something to be said for this idea!

Let’s see. Learned how to Resolve Conflict today. The class started at 8:30. I was late (of course. Hey! That’s early!) It was a good class. And the trainer was waaay nummy. Tried not to flirt too much. Failed.

CT called last night. Got all caught up for the week. Going to go catch his show on Friday night. It’s always weird to go to a show that he’s done without me. I feel out of the loop. It’s my fault though. I was offered and declined. (This ain’t no cheap meat you’re lookin’ at!) Speaking of shows. I’ve now received (2) emails this week to direct shows next year. (BOTH without CT; yikes!) Oh, so that makes (3) total offers for 2003. Wow, they like me, they REALLY like me. Let’s see, Crazy for You, Oliver!, and Secret Garden. It’s fun to be wanted.

I need to piece together all my music-related business ideas and figure out how they can work together to make me enough $$ to be rich, err, to pay my bills. (In case the rumored layoffs happen at work.) Between directing, teaching, playing and consulting, I know I can fill all my time in a week. But how much would that earn me? If I would get my shit together and put together a business plan, I have a KICK ASS idea for a wedding business could be fun. *sigh* I’ve been kicking THAT one around for, oh what?, 4-5 years now. Too many things to do in this life. I hope I get 8 more! Here’s my résumé if you’re curious. (It’s an old format so don’t give me grief. The new one isn’t ready yet.) Constructive ideas are always welcome of course.

It’s boring, I know, but the whole job/work/layoff thing is on my mind a lot lately. I guess it’s natural. Not much I can really do about it happening but, hey, I have to think everything to death.

Tomorrow night I’ve got a couple students. I should stop by the gym on the way home and hit against the ball machine for an hour. Or, oops, on second thought I was supposed to do upper today. Need to get that in tomorrow so the soreness is gone before lessons. Ok that’s settled. Gawd, I’m even boring myself…
